NMC provided PAL funding to this NMC bETA RI Fellow, Gabe Perez. 

This MA business, established in 1990, employs 15 employees and custom fabricates and installs walk-in coolers, freezers and cold storage doors/structures.

Gabe is a seasoned healthcare executive, with over 10 years experience making an impact in health tech, managed care, and provider services. He was most recently with Clover Health (NASDAQ: CLOV), where he led the team which successfully Clover's SaaS product, enabled a $2B accountable care business, and managed core traditional physician network operations.

Prior to Clover, Gabe led business development efforts for Davita, Inc., a Fortune 500 dialysis provider, where he spearheaded growth strategies, and acquisitions of independently-owned dialysis facilities across the Northeast. Gabe also worked in corporate strategy for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ where he helped to develop and implement an innovative value-based reimbursement strategy designed to improve outcomes while reducing healthcare costs for 3M+ NJ members. Prior to his venture into healthcare, Gabe was a management consultant for LEK Consulting, developing growth and turnaround strategies, and performed extensive due diligence for several Fortune 500 companies and the leading private equity firms. Gabe attained his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

Gabe currently lives in the Berkshires in Western Mass. He is a father of four, engaged in youth sports (as coach and board member), small town politics (sits on the Williamstown Historical Commission), an avid Crossfitter, novice fly fisherman, and skier.
