This recognition honors New Majority Capital’s work to expand entrepreneurship through acquisition and open new pathways to small business ownership for underrepresented entrepreneurs.
For New Majority Capital, redefining business ownership means more than helping individuals acquire companies. It means building a more inclusive ownership economy — one where talented entrepreneurs who have historically faced barriers to capital, networks, and opportunity can access the education, financing, and support needed to become successful small business owners.
Fast Company recognized New Majority Capital’s model for combining three critical elements of entrepreneurship through acquisition: education, capital, and post-acquisition support. Through programs including the bETA Accelerator, NMC Fund I, and NMC Concierge, New Majority Capital is helping entrepreneurs prepare for acquisition, access the capital needed to close the gap, and operate with stronger support after purchase.
In 2025, New Majority Capital expanded its bETA Accelerator platform, training more than 370 underrepresented entrepreneurs and running five cohorts across multiple cities. At the same time, New Majority Capital has continued building NMC Fund I, designed to remove one of the biggest barriers to acquisition by helping entrepreneurs access down-payment capital.
