Havell Rodrigues, CEO & Managing Partner

Havell Rodrigues is CEO and Managing Partner of New Majority Capital, where he leads deal structuring, financing and portfolio management.

HavelI is a veteran of the asset management industry. He served as a Portfolio Manager for $50M in aum in internal hedge fund-of-funds at Venus Capital where he managed portfolio construction, monthly allocations and due diligence on new investments. He also served as risk manager for the fund's external hedge fund offerings with $500m in aum. He also worked in fund raising, business development and on the fund's structured investments. After that, he led several startups. As co founder and CEO of a venture-backed distributed ledger technology startup Adjoint he scaled it across Boston, London, and Zurich with Fortune 100 clients and oversaw the spin off of a insurtech division. Before that he was the Chief Revenue Officer at Elsen, a fintech startup that built a factor modelling platform for Asset Managers using Thomson Reuters fundamental and technical data sets. Prior to that he was on the founding team and board member of Green Bean Recycle which was a cleanteach company that was acquired by a public company.

Havell has an MBA from Babson College, a BS in Statistics, MA- Part l in Economics from University of Mumbai and is a CAIA Charterholder. HavelI is a immigrant who came to the US in 2001 and lives in Boston, MA.
