Julia Wang, Chief of Staff

Julia Wang is the Chief of Staff at New Majority Capital, where she partners with the CEO to drive firm strategy, streamline operations, and support growth.

Julia built her career supporting entrepreneurs and mission-driven startups. At Company Ventures in New York, she directed the Grand Central Tech Residency, working with values-driven founders at the intersection of technology and social impact. Earlier, at Venture for America (VFA), she led national entrepreneurship programs and funding initiatives designed to serve as a “friends and family round” for underrepresented founders. 

Julia began her career at The City Club of Cleveland, producing more than 200 public forums that shaped civic dialogue across the Midwest. She most recently was the Director of Operations at Upwage, an AI workforce startup, where she built 0–1 operational systems across partnerships, customer success, and product enablement.

Born in Toronto and raised in the Midwest, Julia is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she studied Environmental Studies and Business. She now lives in Brooklyn, NY.
